We walk through life and look for inspiration.
But we fail to see out life is the inspiration.
Our steps. Our thoughts. Our words.
Our pains. Our joys. Our hopes.
We want to make sure people will say something nice and memorable about us.
But we forget that it isn’t the problem that should make our life quotable.
It’s our solution to the problem that should make our life notable.
Look at your life. Who or what is the solution to your problems?
Is it something quotable and fading like “YOLO” or some other modern, trite expression?
Or is it something notable like the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ?
Watch what steps you take, some will be washed away by the waves of time.
But others will remain as milestones in the sand for the next sojourner to look upon.
And what do those footprints say?
About where you’ve been?
About where you’re going?
About who you are?
What are you dreams and aspirations?
What motivates you?
What is your solution to a problem?
Do you live notably or quotably?
